I'm a Newbie--in Campus, in Christ

"God had actually given me many opportunities to know Him, even before I met Ai Yen," began freshman Jun Yee as she recalled how she came to know Jesus.

She was reading a magazine when MCCC staff Ai Yen approached her. Knowing that Jun Yee had an interest in the topic of self-image, they agreed to meet up again. Ai Yen was to help her know more about herself through a self-image test. As Jun Yee shared about her struggles, Ai Yen seized the opportunity to share her own testimony of how she had also faced a similar situation in the past.

Saved by a Booklet

"It was my first year in university. The details of that afternoon are still vivid in my mind. Esther, a close friend, suddenly came into my room. She took out a booklet and started reading it to me page by page. I realized she was trying to share the Gospel with me. I wasn't interested in Christianity then. So I simply put the booklet inside my drawer," shared Amanda, a secretary.
