Rantau Dragon & Lion Dance Association was founded in 2019 under the mentorship of Master Tan Yee Lee. Starting with just 10 passionate students, the association has grown to more than 45 members today, embracing participants of various ethnicities and age groups. Our primary goal is to promote discipline, teamwork, harmony, mental focus, and physical fitness within both the local Malaysian community and internationally.
Our mission is to cultivate strong values of discipline, cooperation, physical endurance, confidence in performance, and emotional well-being. Lion and dragon dance is not only a vibrant cultural art form but also an excellent sport for all ages, fostering unity (MUHIBBAH), cultural tolerance, and a strong sense of community spirit.
Rantau Dragon & Lion Dance Association proudly holds the distinction of being the only troupe led by a female master. Over the years, we have been honoured to perform at numerous prestigious events across Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and beyond. Our reputation continues to grow steadily. We actively participate in government and private events, weddings, school celebrations, and many other special occasions.
